We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed.
Perplexed, but not in despair.
Persecuted, but not abandoned by God.
Struck down, but not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:8

Dusk had fallen...
Friday, April 21, 2006, 8:57 PM

Dusk had fallen. Rain poured down on the little school just walking distance from MacRitchie reservoir...Thunder shook the sky causing bright flashes to erupt from the blue beyond.

The competition was over, and a boy was walking towards the bus-stop, hoping to catch a bus to get home. carrying a cup of coffe in his hand, he walked out of the JC and reached a little road, where he had to walk through to get to the bus-stop.

Just then, he remembered that he had left his school bag in his little old locker back in school, and since he had to pass through his school to get to the bus-stop, he wasn't too worried.

As he entered his school, he remembered that the lights on the second and third floors were normally off at nite. Oh No!!! He had heard of many stories about his school being haunted, and the one about a preserved life-form floating around, really scared him.

when he reached school, he saw that the lights on the first and second floors were on. Whew! But what about the third storey he thought as he embarked on the stairs leading up...

As he aproached the third floor he saw that every single light except the one in front of his classroom was off...Whew!
Ahh... but why every other light but this? This thought really bothered him as he dialled in the combination and opened his locker. more doubts started to form as he got down to the first floor.

The ordeal was not over yet. he still had to brave the stairs leading down to the bus-stop. he made it down, and when he saw that he was just a few metres from the School gate, he ran!!! Then, he spotted a silhouette sitting there at the bus-stop...It was only a teacher.

Hope you enjoyed the story... and believe me, its a true story... i don't make things up do I?
