We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed.
Perplexed, but not in despair.
Persecuted, but not abandoned by God.
Struck down, but not destroyed.

Generalizations...

On the 2nd April, an American missionary to Russia arrived in Singapore. No, this is not a testimony. He is a friend of my parents. He was last in Singapore in 1989. Now, 15 years later, he arrives here again. His name is Rev. Michael Lytton. I met him once in 1997 when my family when to Virginia. Back then, I was young and I did not speak to him much.
In the past few days, I have spoken to him quite a bit, and he is a really nice person. Just the other day, I went to J8 with him. We were walking past a VCD/DVD shop. He saw that the Chronicles of Narnia was playing. He was like,'Isn't that Narnia?', and then he dashed into the shop and bought the DVD right away.
at first I thought that Narnia was like Lord of the Rings. I watched LOTR out of boredom. Thus I had made a hasty generalisation that all movies with magic, and "medieval-setted" wars, were boring. Well, that night I watched the movie with him. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The symbolism in the movie was so clear; there were so many links to Christian values and the bible.

Now I am looking forward to go to the library and read C.S. Lewis' books. Lols...
