I wanna drop lit! haiz.... i dunno hw i did it last year, but this year, its not getting easier hmm. even though i did top the class in an essay - hahas - onli two people chose to ans question 2 n i scored higher... tt was the onli thing that i hv done well... and now there's this 500wrd essay. i've gotta read a 300pg pride n prejudice n answer one of 20 essay questions, most of which don't make much sense to me. and well i have to hand up the essay on 7th march (last week) ;-)
haiz... through the years, the things that i have learnt from lit would be:
1. to write rather meaninglessly and extensively on vague points i barely understand and make it seem really believeable.
2. to be able to comprehend entire novels from wikisummaries and sparknotes
3. sparknotes rock! - our lit teacher introduced us to them -.-" -- i guess that might just defeat the whole purpose of lit and appreciating lit
oh well... i might just drop it in term 2 for the following reasons:
1. i am not learning much from lit
2. every lesson is slack period; and for some time to beat arsenal...hahas....
3. i'm gonna drop it in jc anywaes
but thn i guess for now i jus gotta find a way to handle my 1 week late lit essay, read as many summaries as i can and elaborate on vauge points all by tonight... =) with my one year of lit experiance i'd say no probs hahas!!
