alive and free

I am reviving my blog after 5 months of inactivity. I guess its cos I have important thoughts to record...hmm

The last 5 months, have undoubtedly been eventful, i finally topped the 5 man strong tamil class in the CCT, I scored unexpectedly high for Bio. And i am now a Venture: tt means i have killed frogs, skinned them half dead n eaten them close to half raw. hahas...

this week of the march hols has been really tiring but i believe that it has been one of the best march hols ever. firstly, cos as ventures, we do not go for SUTC ( Scout Unit Training Camp), therefore nt pumping 1000, just after pumping in a really tiny amount for jobweek... hahas

this year has been my best year at jobweek, i have to admit that i took an hour++ long break for lunch each day... i was strolling through the neighbourhood, asking for jobs casually and yet scored top earner for day 1 and getting my highest earnings in four years.

then there was my RE camp 'Search those roots!' ... and finally my RE is more or less over, the only things left would be the 1 month overdue learning journal, the final presentation, final product(booklet- camp guide), and then i have 14 weeks of RE periods(abt 70 hrs) to do the report on my own - its my third time manning the report alone, the last two years being in kelvin koa's re grp.

Search Those Roots! - was a success in my eyes, thank god that we managed to pull through and have some fun too. Sadly, the first day was not planned very much in detail. we did not have enough events/workshops to hold and ended up playing games for 3hrs. also the workshops were not as engaging as they should have been.
Day 2 was wonderful. everything went as planned, but then it rained half way and we had to end the race half way. i guess the best part was the macdonald's meal we all had =D the rest of te day went on well and soon enough we had ended camp. i reali miss camp, n i miss certain ppl whom i met there... and even though some thought the camp was boring i had alot of fun, jus kidding arnd wif the volunteers n kids=)
