i guess the whitley campfire turn out was rather er... sad? and as yenter has done, i would lyk to applaud these poeple who came and did their best - De Hong and Yenter. well they are the onli ones other than me who went....... =)
so we onli had 3 ppl representing 01, and thn we just had to be 1 hour late, and some of us weren't wearing full scout u. one in half uniform and another in casual... guess who =) i can't deny it.... hehes...(of course i did change later...) and it was thanks to a girl from whitley who was behind us and noticed us, that we got our souvenier.... the emcees didn't noe we were there... so thank you=) --- it was fun though... yenter went up to get the souvenier n thn i wanted to do a two man cheer wif dhong....hahas i tink mayflower was amused by me shouting n clapping n dhong jus sitting there.....
oh and i was reminded of the song - You Are My All In All...
the lyrics - 'Lord, to give up I'd be a fool' - spoke to me, and it reminded me of my purpose n destiny... i mean, truly, to give up is a shame... all that God has instore for us if we just press on would be denied to us if we are to give up....the song puts it so simply and it never occured to me that it was actually that simple - well words are easy to speak, to put it in action isn't that easy. and i have to admit that at certain points i have been so close to just giving up. but i thank God for ultimately reeling me back in =)
oh yea.... LDP went reali great! we presented really well in my opinion.... everyone did a good impromptu thing on their part =) well the group wanted me to solo, thn liz split with me, n glendon joined in, but in the end everyone had their fair share n i got the fairest(i did all the slides tt i wrote)...hahas... thank God for being able to do well... i was actually not nervous!!! i still rmbr presenting smth in sec 3, my heart beat could be seen in the script vibrating n my hands were shivering uncontrollably - i had the script in my hand which made it sooooo obvious.... =\ hehes those times are gone now =D i just hope we get to do the presentation at the symposium =)
