Met shide for lunch... thn dhong n chee yeow forgot to bring their berrets. so shide kindly bought new ones for them - gd thing the scout shop was open. thn camp started off with inspection. we did it twice n better on the 2nd round =D added 114 to our count(the onli time we added counts). thn we raced down to lower pierce reservoir or yio chu kang road abt 3-4km. n survival nite began..

halim was stung by bees... cos he shoved a pole out of his way and it landed on a hive... his ear was looking very much the buddha...n his pinky very much a swollen tube...

i was wif jeremy and ram... we slashed, sawed, and burned n later scattered eveythin else... the shelter was a success totally waterproof, we cooked all our food but didn't eat all..

i made a mistake of eatin the mushrooms raw. n paid later on wif food poisoning.... hahaha... had to call yan zhi n ask for ultracarbon.. thn he brought me to mr Tan's car n lyk jus sat there for 15 minutes while listenig to what he had to say about ASPIRE... sounds reali imba. thn Mr Tan was saying that tis was reali similar to army n BMT would be slightly easier than tis, though OCS would be a tougher... onli diff is that in VC they dun come at us 'left, right, centre'...

thn i slept during my sentry duty... luckily jeremy was awake hahas...

woke up at 6.15 am and cleared up the area; disposed of certain items ;) hehe... thn we toked kok until the J1s came... thn they inspected our trap n waer procurement... trap was good - jus tt the noose was rather small n if it were to reali catch somethin the position had to change... everyone failed to collect water - we all jus tied plastic bags over leaves and trusted in transipration....

we made our way to the reservoir after tt abt 3km away... we chiong-ed there n shide almost gg-ed... from there we started closed terrain orienteering wasn't too difficult but wasn't easy either... the first checkpoint was quite ok thn we got stuck at no.7 we were lookin for it lyk 100m away from where it reali was n thn halim gave us a hint n we found it after an hour. went up the treetop trail thing where i faced my fear of heights... i freaked out when i tripped on the bridge n when the compass almost swung out!!! some freaky.... jus kept lookin at the end n jus walked...

we had to end at 3pm.. and jus as we were abt to set off from rifle range rd to farrer pk, it rained some bomb heavily... everyone was wearing scout pants... n we were wet from the shoes up to our thighs... thn we crossed over PIE on some flyover n the path at the side was flooded -water was ankle deep for abt 20metres. =( but at least better thn scorching heat..

thn we hit bukit timah rd abt an hour later n we hiked 12 km down the road all the way to farrer park primary where we stopped for dinner... n wei jie revealed tt they nvr said we had to walk to east coast park...=DD but we left late n had to take taxi..

reached east coast n rented bicycles... we had our long awaited night cycling - but no one knew tt we were gonna cycle thru the morn n a total of 22km hahas. started off ayt east coast n made a pit-stop to play 'cock-fight' thn to the end of east coast where we did the conveyor belt thing for abt 50+metres... imba the ground at other ennd was prickly thnx to the pine needles!!! n maybe there was sea grass cos we were all itching badly for the nxt hour plus...

(conitnued from day b4)cycled another 8km from one end of Changi Aiport while watching planes take-off n land to changi beach.. reahed there at 1.30am, took a 2hr rest stop at the beach where we all slept.. thn we got up and cycled non stop back to east coast..

reached ECP at 6am; slept for 1.5hrs n had a wonderful breakfast of 3-in-1 chocolate cereal and rasin bread..mmm...

thn we had a reali cool and tot provoking finale which i personally feel to be significant... we had a few games and thn spent some tme jus reflecting on the beach... listening to the waves n wind while blindfolded was reali peaceful n i had a couple of tots... thn the J1s spoke to each person... and we had a reali cool finale thing where we burnt our reflections - it was more of significance n sort of the mark of new beginings...

we had lunch at burger king... prob a 1000 calorie meal.. hahas upsized n add-on dessert... made my way back to sch wif dhong cos he had to get his sis's scholarship form which he left in the den..(VQM responsibilities ;D ) gd thing there was a direct bus back -13... we both slept on the bus for abt 40min.. thn had to take the long way round cos we could enter thru the side gate -.-" thnx to the sch's wonderful new security system tt only allows us to open the side gate from the inside... -.-"

thn went to the den played carom... n someone wanted to take a 5 min nap... in the end we both slept for abt an hour... came home at 5 n slept til 11.30 watched lost for 1/2 hr thn slept til now...
