alive and free

hmm so i was doing my quiet time this morn and one thing that struck me was - The battle belongs to the Lord's

i remember hearing a song or the verse that said this and i looked it up so here it is --

All those gathered here will now that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give all of you into our hands.
1 Samuel 17:47

i have this little notebook in which i pen my thoughts, especially when im feeling really low or if there's smth that i really nd to write... and as i write it helps me see the big picture - primarily that the battle is the lord's.

now recently i have found it really hard to live as i should, being a christian, and as i was reading it dawned upon me that everytime i would make a stand to obey God, somehting would just come up. lyk for a couple of days i was feeling just so horribly low for no reason - there was lyk anger and frustration and then sadness. but i had to just fight it and carry on...

and now i am reminded that the battle is the lord's. i need not worry about the outcome of things, for all that he has planned will happen. i went through alot in the last year and it has all prepared me and helped me trust God even more.
