wow... Festival of Praise was great!!! Wif Don Moen and Christian City Church [band]....
i will surely be going next year - Delirious? is coming next year - Delirious? was the group that made the songs "Did you feel the mountains tremble?" and "I could sing of your love forever" famous...
i remember a few years back, when i was in lyk P4, these songs were quite popular in church. they would always sing 'em.... well, i managed to find a CD wif all of these "old" songs... listening to 'em remminds me of the days tt i would go wif my parents to church, and play wif my frens during meetings....
today was a great day for me...
woke up at 8, had to b in school at 9 to take some scout crime prevention test but then i was late as us
ual...haiz... well at least i managed to take the test after school...
anyway, the Sec 2's had two activities - decorating yakult bottles and making a train out of 'em. i didn't hv a yakult bottle so i managed to share one wif Ngoh - we tied some pro ocean plait(left), to the bottle - i learned the knot the week b4 when we had to tie lyk 100+ for sum charity event [i was the only Sec 2 hu truned up for that session - there were lyk 5 or 6 other Sec 3's]
later, year head "dismissed" us for "recess". and then after recess, we had to go watch some sec 3 or sec 4 band play two original songs and two NDP songs... the electric guitarist was gd... but the onli thing was tt the singer was a bit the soft.
after school, we followed onganrdo to the scout HQ to submit the crime prevention stuff- but the guy hu was supposed to collect the stuff was not in, so we hv an "extension" till lyk friday... but then ongna say we may not pass...i was lyk we can take it again nxt yr then...lols
then me went wif my mum for lunch and later met up wif my dad and went to sembawang shopping centre after visiting my grandma n uncle...=)
well, at the shopping centre, i almost walked into a pillar...lols n guess wat two ladies from some saloon were watching me...hahas....dots...
and to date, i think i hv found a total of $15 on the floor... just last nite i was crossing the road then i saw a ten cent coin but my hands were full...lols...
*~now i am watching the fireworks... thi is one good thing of living in bishan and being on the 21st storey - u get to see the fireworks and flypast during national day... of course, the other thing is that my primary school, Sec sch and JC will be in bishan too[so when everyone wakes up at lyk 6am or 6.15am, i wake up at 7am sharp...haha...=)] ~*
toking abt NDP, i find that as i grow older, compared to when in pri sch, there is less excitement during NDP - its lyk in pri sch, we come in red and white and then sing NDP songs and reali reali hv fun wif frens for half a day... nowadays, its lyk "y must i go to sch on tuesday - well, as least its onli half day - i wish we had a three day holiday though"
